Circle One rider, Sally Harris scores big swell in Thurso

Circle One rider, Sally Harris scores big swell in Thurso
Hi Guys, Hope you are having a good year so far and the wind is better and the swell for you next week.  It was a wild week in Thurso with surf up to 22ft in between squalls and hurricane winds gusting 60mph after new year!  I surfed some nice sheltered point breaks sometimes in passing hail storms so violent you couldn’t see land! Still it was a really fun week and new year celebrations on Thurso high street were very entertaining meeting some interesting local characters! I used the Circle One Traction tail pad and it felt great on the steeper drops. Excited to go to Lanza in a couple of weeks and get into some consistent waves and less harsh conditions for a…

Circle One team rider Scott Eastwood scores Seniors and Masters national titles!

Circle One team rider Scott Eastwood scores Seniors and Masters national titles!
Circle One team rider, Scott Eastwood has scored the Seniors and Masters national surfing titles held at Fistral, Newquay.  We are really stoked for Scott and here’s to more of the same!!  Here’s what the reporter had to say: “The masters (over 35) put on an interesting show as once again conditions weren’t ideal, but Jersey’s Scott Eastwood continued his electric form throughout the event to deservedly take what would be one of two national titles. The pushing tide provided some improvement in conditions for the seniors (over 28) final, Sam Smart and Scott Eastwood battled back and forth for title, but Scott found the scores needed and made sure that both Masters and seniors trophies were on the return flight to Jersey.”…

Great customer feedback on Circle One 12' SUP

Great customer feedback on Circle One 12' SUP
Hi Guys,   I have just purchased a new board from you through my local dealer (gone Paddling jersey) and I would like to say how impressed I am with the board. I am a large guy (ex rugby player) and the board floats me with no trouble and also does this with my little boy on as well. It handles itself in the surf really well and for a big old board is pretty nippy along the line. It is also a pleasure to use in the flat being it is so stable. Once again I would like to say thankyou very much a truly excellent board. Many Thanks, Andy…

Trading Circle One surfboards for hats in Morocco!

Trading Circle One surfboards for hats in Morocco!
Friend of C1, Ewart swaps surfboards for hats!! “I swapped the 6`2” fish (it was a great board) with about 30 goat wool hats with Sami (pictured) who worked in the Tamri surf shop in Morocco. He had been surfing for 10 years but had never owned hes own board. I got the hats home, sold a few and the rest got eaten by little maggots that had been hiding in the wool! Not my best deal ever! Cheers Ewart…

C1 team rider Sally Harris scores at NGor Island, Senegal

C1 team rider Sally Harris scores at NGor Island, Senegal
Hi Guys! I have been on two big surf trips and been surfing in Scotland again since December.   Over Christmas and New Year I went out to Melbourne and surfed along the Great Ocean Road and on the Mornington Peninsula.  It was summer swells so the surf was inconsistent but I probably scored it best at Gunamatta.  It was hot – 40 degrees some days, bit of a change from our Winter! Winter ended early this year for the Joxy Team who headed out to NGor Island off the West Coast of Africa, Dakar, Senegal. Getting onto local open fishing boats everyday we have been treated to a huge variety of waves from small to double overhead, lefts, rights walls, barrels, 150m rides. We surfed…
